• The Che Seat is a seat anyone can make on any budget learning the skills learnt from my set of videos teaching the masses to upholster.

  The Idea is to bring upholstery to the masses and teach everyone how to make there own chair out of scrap. Because the craft is gradually dying away I wanted it to be fashionable to make your own sofas and personalise it and post it on to this blog.

  Its is called the che seat after Che Guevara because I was influenced from when i went to cuba and nothing is thrown away.

This art college looks amazing

From my experiments with pewter, I became attracted to how the material reacts with ice when it was in its molten state. I found it interesting that the pewter didn’t know how to react, melting some of the ice and letting it set around the shape of the mould. Catching the pewter and casting it in its molten state gives it a natural and spontaneous outcome.  As a designer I am only able to suggest, not govern the design.
